And then this popped up and I just had to share. Love my brother in law, he is so special.

Its finally finished!
I'm a little bit chuffed with my latest creation so thought I would share it with those who are interested....after saying to Marli for far too many weeks - "I promise it will be finished this weekend!" and after trying and failing to down load their song through so many different avenues I had to turn to my trusty friend Charles to sort it out....but it is finally finished! Its Marli and Johns 'Save the date' video, and just watching it gives me goose bumps because I just WISH I could fly home for their wedding.
And in case you are wondering about the song choice, John is a proud Welsh man and Stereophonics as it turns out are from Wales. Love it.
And love you guys xxx
(Wee tip for those viewing it, watch it as the small screen version on this page as when you enlarge it, it distorts the photos. If you want to see the big version with undistorted photos then click through to this link:)

Sneak peak
Ah the South of France....the people were friendly, the baguettes were deliciously fresh, the wine was ridiculously cheap, a place to indulge, and indulge we did!
We drove through the countryside, passing vineyard, after vineyard, after vineyard. We wandered through cute little streets, passing far too many places that we would like to dine in then time would allow. We drove along the coast, stopping at the first viewing point, only to discover there were viewing points around every other corner... the view from the winding mountainous road over the coast was breathtaking. The rain serenaded us on day 1 but the sun shone every day after this. We sat on beaches, lay on beaches, read on beaches, ate and drunk on beaches, laughed and talked on beaches, then indulged some more.
A holiday to refresh spirits, clear the mind and just enjoy time with some beautiful human beings.
Another proud Welcome to the World....

Wales
I've just arrived back from a wee mini break in Wales hosted by the future Mr and Mrs Caldwell and I feel well and truly rested and revitalised. The fresh country air certainly works some wonders, as does just leaving the hustle and bustle of London for a few nights.
Its easy to choose what I liked best about the weekend-catching up with my dear friend Marli of course (although not easy considering I have all but lost my voice!). Except there was plenty more that I saw and experienced in Wales that also deserve a mention.
Driving through the countryside, I was in awe of its beauty. The sun was shining across the land, and certainly did make everything gleam in goodness and I couldn't help but wish I had my new camera to capture this scene in a way that my point and shoot never will! However the thought also crossed my mind that this is the kind of place that even whilst being lashed upon with rain, it would still retain some kind of charm. The green sprawling paddocks. The winding country backstreets, dotted with cottages. The geese, the tyre swing and the rows and rows of daffidols. Not to mention the beach. The beach and the lighthouse and the family playing a game of cricket. The blue sky. The sand. The fresh country air. The icecream truck.
I also got a pretty good taste of small town living. We were at the local on Friday night in which people were taking turns playing the piano and others were standing around having a right good sing along. And I'm not talking karaoke singing and half decent piano playing. Im talking raw talent and absolute passion. Music is in their blood in Wales and it shows. It was incredible to watch and to listen to. The locals were friendly and it was only a 3 pound fifty taxi fare there and back.
Such a great place and even better friends to be there with. I will most definitely return in the summer (with my new camera to hopefully to do this place justice).

Is it spring yet?
Its time to spring clean my life.
Im taking time to think about what I want. Not just out of life, not just out of this year, but on a daily basis.
When I think about what I want, I think about what I'm achieving. And thinking about what i'm achieving makes me assess whether I am achieving it or not.
If I am achieving it, I don't just feel pride, I take notice of what is helping me to get there. What have I done? And WHO in particular has been of support/encouragement. Some things simply cannot be achieved on ones own.
And if i'm not, I look at whats stopping me, or what is holding me back. From here, I work on change, and on elimination.
2011 like any other year,I plan on taking, and running with. I want to look back and feel proud of all I've done and know I've spent my time wisely. I want to end every year, more rounded, more happy and with more achievements (be them small or big) than when the year began.
I'm spring cleaning for the better.
Watch this space.
